Since 1984, Comfort Classics Clothing has given men and women at home or in care facilities the clothing they love ?attractive, affordable, a great fit, easy care fabrics and designs. No ironing is required. Fashions in seasonal traditional styles for independent adults or in adaptive styles for those with special needs, or with limited flexibility, are always available.
We also specialize in wide and/or extra depth footwear, shoes, slippers or socks. Tying a shoelace is something that can be taken for granted unless dementia, arthritis or other problems occur, and then Velcro closures usually are preferred.
More than 50 manufacturers have provided the clothing and footwear designs we approve and offer. We ship anywhere quickly and affordably. Our staff is trained to understand the needs of seniors. Our sizes are set to best fit bodies of our customers. If you have doubt about the size needed, please consult the size chart at the end of the catalogue. For those with arthritis or other ailments, it can be difficult to raise the arms over the head and we have provided a loose fit and often snap closures to avoid over the head needs where possible.
Adaptive clothing opens in the back and thus permits dressing by extending arms to the front while a helper can do up the back closure.
Adaptive clothing is helpful for care aids in facilities, as well as for caregivers at home who can be at risk for injuries particularly with clients resisting the attempts trying to dress the traditional clothing.
